FIFA World Cup: Twitteratis wants Luis Suarez to be banned for a long tenure
Luis Suarez, one of the best players plying his trade for Uruguay hit a major low, after he bit Giorgio Chiellini on his shoulder while playing against Italy yesterday in the crucial world cup encounter. It was not for the first time that Suarez bit his opponent, embarrassingly enough, it was the third time, where Suarez dug his teeth deep in the field of play, yet he had not learned from his mistake.

The player was lucky enough to escape the sending off even after Giorgio Chiellini showed the teeth mark on his shoulder to the match referee. Repeated video clippings suggested that the Uruguayan bit the Italian. FIFA is expected to take a stern action against the player for his barbaric act. For his bite act in two previous instances, he received a match ban for seven and ten matches respectively by the respective authorities. Will FIFA be strict and ban him for a long tenure?

One can expect Luis Suarez to face a lengthy ban, may be even one to two years. With the magnitude of the competition at place as well, FIFA needs to come up with such a punishment, so such behaviour would act as a deterrent for other players who do not play the game in the right spirit.

Following the bite incident, Suarez has been trending all over Twitter with Twitteratis taking a dig at the player, asking FIFA to ban the player. Some tweets read as follows:
