FIFA World Cup: Uruguay vs England
Two football giants, England and Uruguay, after having faltered in their respective first game against Italy and Costa Rica would be in loggerheads today at Arena Corinthians, S?o Paulo. The group D encounter between the two sides is a must win for both the nations, as the winner would increase their chance of progressing into the next stage, while the loser would be shown the exit door.

Though, England might have lost their game against the group favourites, Italy, but they did give it their all and were not overshadowed by the Azzuris. Had luck been by their side, they could have well turned out triumphant, or at least drawn the game. But, the same cannot be said for Uruguay, who lost their opening game in an embarrassing manner with the score reading 3-1. They were outplayed.

But, the Uruguayan team spirit might have been lifted after the return of their in-form striker, Luis Suarez, who was nursing an injury. He was badly missed by his Uruguayan team mates against Coasta Rica, as he is the sort of player who can lift the morale of the entire team with his skills.

England is aware of Luis Suarez and what he brings to the plate, for he was the best player in the English Premier League last season representing Liverpool. With a number of Liverpool players in England's squad, they would know the Uruguayan at the back of their hands, so could pass some important tips to tackle the Uruguayan. Luis Suarez could also do the same with his knowledge of Liverpool players playing for England.

But the game is not only going to revolve around Suarez, as there are a number of players such as Forlan and Cavani, who could split upon the English defense and create havoc for the defenders. It is a team game, hence all players need to get their act together as well.

England would be under huge pressure to win the game as they are always considered to be one of the favourites for the competition, yet always fail to deliver. Some players have already been criticised for their performance against Italy, which includes Rooney, who might have to sit down today, so that Hodgson would pick a team, capable of defeating Uruguay.

It is a game, which is going to be throughly enjoyed by neutral fans in Brazil, for both teams possesses star players in their ranks, who can lit the game with their football skills and entertain one and all.
