Shiney Ahuja accused of raping a young girl, who was working as a domestic help at his residence has been granted bail by the Mumbai High Court. While granting bail, the Bombay High Court has asked the actor to leave Mumbai during the bail period.
FILM ACTOR Shiney Ahuja accused of raping a young girl, who was working as a domestic help at his residence has been granted bail by the Mumbai High Court. Ahuja will have to submit a bond of Rs 50,000 to be released from the jail as per the high court order.
While granting bail, the Bombay High Court has asked the actor to leave Mumbai during the bail period.
Ahuja was arrested by Oshiwara police on charges of rape after a complaint of rape was registered against him by a young girl working as a domestic help. The actor was accused of forcing himself on the young girl at his residence, when his family members were not at home.
Though, Ahuja admitted to the police that he had indeed made a mistake but his wife later vehemently denied the charged.
Earlier, the lower court in Mumbai had rejected his bail plea admitting the prosecution plea that he could influence the investigation if he was granted bail.
