Tendulkar and veteran Bollywood actress Rekha had been nominated as worst performers in terms of their attendance in the House among 12 other nominated members, according to an analysis by Factly.in, a data journalism portal.

Other nominated members are Anu Aga, Sambhaji Chhatrapati, Swapan Dasgupta, Roopa Ganguly, Narendra Jadhav, MC Mary Kom, K Parasaran, Gopi Suresh, Subramanian Swamy and KTS Tulsi who were also nominated in the same category.

Meanwhile, many social media users took jibesat Tendulkar for attending the Rajya Sabha proceedings after a long-long time. One Twitter users even referred to him as 'Eid ka Chand', while others said that he had attended the Rajya Sabha to promote his recently released movie.
