Finding Fanny Official Trailer Released: A film to watch out for!
The official trailer for Finding Fanny has released today. The makers have thrown in a full front page advertisement in all leading national newspapers to create a buzz around the film. If initial indication is anything to go by, this is a must watch film in the coming days.

About the movie theme and genre: As far as the trailer goes, the film is a satire set in the quaint town of Goa with five adorable Goan people. The English/Hindi film is about the search of a girl called Fanny (as is evident by the film's title) who is Naseeruddin's long lost love.

Trying to locate this mysterious Fanny, every character in the film comes out as these real people we live, walk and breathe with. Funny situations mark the film and the trailer as well, but the development of the characters is evident via the 20 minutes road trip, which turns into one and half days trip. Goan setting, Goan people and a Goan trip is what the audience would have through this film.

About Starcast: Naseerudin Shah and Pankaj Kapoor are as usual their brilliant selves, however the Dimple Kapadia we knew from her Bobby Days have transformed into this hefty Goan lady, who inspite of being in the dawn of her life is still searching for her love. She not only looks the part but acts and talks the part of a Goan lady.

Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor are the young lovers in the film, but even they are searching for their own purpose in life. It would be the first time that both of them would appear together and while Deepika is adept in comedy as was evident from Chennai Express, but every eye would be on Arjun Kapoor, since he is yet to prove himself in the genre of comedy.

About the Director: Finding Fanny is Homi Adajana's third film, after the critically acclaimed films such as Being Cyrus and Cocktail. He gives credit to his passion for storytelling to his late father and through his films we can understand that he loves his stories to be quirky with multi layered characters. He is definitely not the one to believe in a cardboard cut out protagonist or love that is true and loyal. He understands the world of grey in relationships and explores them widely through his films.

Movies from the same Director in past: Being Cyrus and Cocktail.

Release Date: September 12, 2014
