Fined $50,000, Warne may bowl to Tendulkar in his last IPL game
Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne will be fined $50,000 for his public spat with RCA secretary Sanjay Dixit. He will play his last game of his cricket career on Friday against Mumbai Indians.
RAJASTHAN ROYALS captain-cum-coach and the legendary spinner Shane Warne, who has already announced his retirement from every form of cricket after the ongoing session of the IPL 2011, escaped the possibility of a one-match ban by the BCCI for his alleged misconduct with Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) Secretary Sanjay Dixit. However, Warne was fined US$ 50,000 for public criticism of Sanjay Dixit.

Earlier on Tuesday, Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Warne and Rajasthan Cricket Association secretary Sanjay Dixit appeared before the three members of the IPL disciplinary committee including IPL chairman Chirayu Amin, Ravi Shastri and IMG's legal counsel John Loffhagen at the BCCI's headquarters in Mumbai on Tuesday version.

The Rajasthan Cricket Association had complained against Warne to the BCCI and IPL that he had reportedly abused RCA Secretary Sanjay Dixit after his team's loss to Bangalore in Jaipur last week. The war of words began between Shane Warne and Sanjay Dixit as the pitch at Sawai Mansingh Stadium was changed on May 9 against Chennai Super Kings game.

Shane Warne has played 145 test matches and claimed 708 wickets with five wickets haul in an inning 37 times and 10 wickets in a match 10 times. In the 194 one day internationals he has played, Shane Warne bagged 293 wickets and in the IPL, Warne has played 54 games for Rajasthan Royals so far, and picked 57 wickets.
