Finish the book before its contents disappear
It generally happens that we buy books and keep them aside without even bothering to read them, but that would not be true anymore. As part of a new initiative, people who buy books would be forced to finish reading them, as the contents of those books will disappear after a certain time period.

TO ENCOURAGE new authors, an innovative project has been developed by the Argentinians, who have come up with a literary work, which is printed in a kind of ink that disappears within two to three months, after the book is opened.

The book named 'el libro que no puede esperar' (the book that can't wait) comes in a airtight packing as the carbon monoxide reacts with the ink once the book is opened. The project was taken up by an Argentinian small publishing house in collaboration with a creative agency, named draftFCB.

Lulo Calio, Creative Director draftFCB, in this AFP video said: “We hope to boost the sales of this writer because often they got ignored and held up in libraries. And as you can't read this book after three months as it's content will disappear. So you are forced to read the book, and get to know its writers.”

This rare initiative will certainly force people to finish the books they buy, as its contents will disappear after a certain period of time. Even if the book is boring, people will be forced to read it, and finish it too. Shrabani Mukherjee, an avid book reader, though won't buy such books, but agrees that once bought, people would be forced to finish them. “I love to go back to books that I have already read and since that is not a possibility with this book, it wouldn't be a profitable buy.”
