First ever laughter competition for the North East launched
'BSNL Naga Laughter Sensation,' the first reality show exclusively for the people of the North East is going to be held soon. This is an effort to bring together the seven sister states of the North East through the medium of laughter.
ROBUST NETWORK in association with BSNL is holding a first of its kind Open Stand up Comedy contest ‘BSNL Naga Laughter Sensation’. This shows aims to encourage, motivate, showcase and create a platform for the talented people of the North East and make laughter an instrument in bringing together the diverse people of the North East.
The competition would be in Nagamese, Assamese, Hindi and English.
An audition-cum-road show is soon to be held in five major districts. It will start at Kohima on February 4, Zunheboto on February 6, Mokokchung on February 8, Tuensang on February 10, and Dimapur on February 13, from 11 am onwards on all places.
The grand first prize for the winner of the Grand Finale of ‘Naga Laughter Sensation’ will be a grand total of Rs.1 lakh and the runners up will get cash prizes of rupees fifty thousand and Rs. 10,000 for the third, forth and fifth places respectively.
