First look of horror-thriller 'Kaya-The Mystery Unfolds' released
After the successful debut of 'Romantic Noy'; Om Prakash Saraogi has once again chosen Rajib Chowdhury to direct his second film 'Kaya-The Mystery Unfolds'.

It's going to be a horror-thriller film interestingly with more or less a ditto star cast of Raima Sen, Kaushik Sen, Priyanka Sarkar, Sayani Datta, Santilal Mukherjee, Poulami Das and others.

'Kaya-The Mystery Unfolds' is all set to unveil some dark realities of the film industry. The film had a fortnight long shooting schedule in Cherapunjee. The film has entirely been shot there.

At the first look launch event, Kaushik Sen said, "Anyhow horror film is always failed to create that buzz in Bengal, maybe it's for inadequate budget or it may also be for lack of storytelling spree. But I found Rajib basically never pretended and he made it in a different way that's why I'm here."

He plays the character of a filmmaker Ranjan Mitra. Priyanka Sarkar, who had earlier collaborated with Rajib in 'Romantic Noy', here again plays a pivotal role.

Here she portrays the character of an assistant director named Riki. She said, "I actually haven't followed or copied any assistant director I know but I tried to improvise myself with some unique mannerism."

Earlier this year, her work in 'Cockpit' had earned a lot of positive feedback. Sayani Datta, who had earlier worked with Rajib and Priyanka, plays an important team member of on-screen director Ranjan.

Sayani, who also played an important role in upcoming Bengali film 'Michael' says, "As I worked with Rajib's debut film with Priyanka; he then told us for his second and that he will repeat me too. Finally I heard story and it's a must to do for me and I was eagerly waiting for a horror film as my filmography lacks the genre." Poulami Das, whose work in recent film 'Curzoner Kalom' has been praised a lot is working with director Rajib Chowdhury for the first time and seems very excited for the release of the film. The film is eyeing a January 2018 release.
