Five people hurt at California apartment shooting, latest news
Five people were hurt, two of them are seriously, in a shooting at an apartment complex in Southern California. Five people were sent to the hospital after a gunman opened fire at a party in Pomona.

FIVE PEOPLE were hurt, two of them are seriously, in a shooting at an apartment complex in Southern California. Five people were sent to the hospital after a gunman opened fire at a party in Pomona. The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on Saturday.


Three men and two women were taken to the hospital. The victims were identified as Javier Acevedo, 31, and David Campos, 35, both of Pomona; Jaime Arellano, 47, of Los Angeles; Diana Campos, 32, of Ontario; and Crystal Medrano, 24, of Claremont.

According to the Pomona police Sgt. Christian Hsu, a gunman who was in his early 20's approached a crowd of people at a party in a courtyard late Saturday and opened fire. The suspect of this shootout described as a man in his early 20's, ran away and ran away and the motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
