Three men and two women were taken to the hospital. The victims were identified as Javier Acevedo, 31, and David Campos, 35, both of Pomona; Jaime Arellano, 47, of Los Angeles; Diana Campos, 32, of Ontario; and Crystal Medrano, 24, of Claremont.
According to the Pomona police Sgt. Christian Hsu, a gunman who was in his early 20's approached a crowd of people at a party in a courtyard late Saturday and opened fire. The suspect of this shootout described as a man in his early 20's, ran away and ran away and the motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
