Football Carnival 2014: FIFA fever grips Banglorites
The FIFA World Cup 2014 has already thrown up a few early surprises - Defending champions Spain are out of the tournament, Germany scored its hat-trick of goals, Portugal had its player red-carded, 2 matches ended with no score - it just could not get more exciting than this. Football lovers have an absolutely brilliant set of games to look forward to till the end of the World Cup on 13th July.

But unfortunately for us on the Indian sub-continent, most of the key matches are being played well past the Cinderella hour. If you feel you are missing out on the World Cup party, there is no reason to fret. The spirit of the 'FIFA World Cup Brasil' has come to Orion Mall at the Brigade Gateway ? so brace yourselves for the biggest Football Carnival ever!

A 6ft high, 60ft length "Football 2014" cut-out, in the colours of the game, along with a massive football will now welcome you to the mall. Flags of each of the 32 participating countries will adorn the pillars of the mall, literally allowing you to walk down the path of history in the making.

The golden FIFA World Cup may have been stolen a few times in its history but you will not have to go to such extremes. Step into Orion Mall and get ready to be amazed with a 12ft trophy that is placed in front of the Debenhams store. This is one trophy that is more than life size in novelty factor.

Want to be photographed in the colours of the team you support - Football Carnival 2014 has several photo-ops, with several props. Go on and create some memories! How about a chance to be a cheering fan without having to go all the way to Brazil! - hop into the fan cheering photo-booth, grab as much of the FIFA fan memorabilia around and go crazy photographing yourself.

Customization stations will be set up across the mall. Step inside to get almost every aspect of your personality done up in the colors of the team you support - from hair colour to nail paint to clothes and more. These are some picture possibilities that you will love to share with your friends.

If you want to live up to FIFA's World Cup song, there is no better way than to get into the game head-on. At the Football Carnival at Orion Mall, you have several innovative ways to do just that. How about having a cameraman follow you around the mall on any of the weekends, participating in the various football based activities and capturing all your excitement live! These videos become part of your memories and will also be shared online for the world to see.

Play a game of netted goal, where scoring a set maximum can win you PUMA merchandise.

Or if you would rather head off with a friend, step into a Cage football arena, a carpeted and fenced football ground that can hold six players at a time.
