If India continues to ignore the immense challenge posed by our huge population, then we will self-destruct. Concrete and strong steps need to be taken to address population increase. We should also learn from China in this matter.
INDIA'S GROWING population is a big hurdle in the development of the country because it is the root of many big problems in India such as poverty, unemployment and so on. If it is not controlled, then it will become a massive bottleneck in the future.
It is not because it increases the number of people but because our government is not able to manage the rate of population growth. We, as a nation, are not able to utilize our population to the best of our abilities.According to a latest survey, India’s population is 1.21 crore. Now you can imagine what will happen in the future. India is a country where there already exists many problems such as corruption, poverty and many more, and this increasing population would make these problems more critical.
This is because if population increases then more scandals happen and government again take so much time to handle these problems.Increasing population means increase in unemployment, increase in poverty and corruption. Now you can imagine if this happens continuously then this is an obvious fact that our future generation would go to foreign countries to build a better future because there they get more opportunities than India - all because of our weak government. India is a country where people are so knowledgeable and hard working in comparison to other countries. But everybody needs a platform to show their talent - and this they don’t get.I can see India in two worlds - one who lives in urban areas where they get all opportunities and second, who lives in the villages. And as we all know more than 50 per cent of Indian population lives in villages where they don’t get any opportunities. If we ignore this fact then can you all please tell or inform me in last 5 years or more than 5 years what development has taken place in rural areas. Personally, I haven't noticed any development in these areas.Today, India is a second most populous country after China but China knows how to make increasing population a boon, which India doesn’t know. That’s why increasing population is a big hurdle in the development of India.
