Former Arunachal CM Kalikho Pul's wife approaches VP for a probe into her husband's suicide note
Former Arunachal Chief Minister Kalikho Pul's wife, Dangwimsai, has written another letter to the Supreme Court asking why her letter was placed in open court for hearing.

The Supreme Court had converted Dangwimsai's letter seeking a probe into the suicide note by her husband into a petition.

Dangwimsai's had written to the Chief Justice of India demanding a CBI probe into her husband's suicide note. The CJI instead converted the letter into a petition and was later placed before a bench of the Supreme Court. However Dangwimsai's counsel, Dushyant Dave withdrew the petition when it came up for hearing and said he would instead seek a recourse before the Vice President of India.

Dave, while arguing the matter cited a Supreme Court judgment which said the with permission from the CJI, the SC and HC judges could be probed for corruption and in case allegations are made against the CJI himself, then the government shall consult any judge of the SC.

Dangwimsai then submitted a letter to Vice-President Hamid Ansari asking for an independent inquiry into her husband's suicide note. She was accompanied by lawyer Prashant Bhushan, activist Harsh Mander, Swaraj India National President Yogendra Yadav, RTI activist Anjali Bhardwaj and others.
