Four-year-old allegedly raped and murdered in Delhi
In a shocking incident in Delhi's Keshavpuram, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped before she was killed.

The girl was abducted last night while she was playing outside her home. Her parents had informed the police around 8 PM but were unable to trace her despite a four-hour search.

The victim's body was found this morning near the railway tracks near her house. Her body bore injuries, indicating that she was sexually assaulted before being killed.

The police have said that they have identified two accused who, in a CCTV footage, have been seen taking away the girl. The police have claimed that the accused live in the same area and are absconding since.

The victim's parents also informed the police that the two accused seen in the CCTV footage had also joined them while they were searching for the girl.

Condemning the incident, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chief, Swati Maliwal said: "A four-year-old girl was raped and murdered by men in their 20s in Keshavpuram. How low will the humanity stoop? Delhi is so unsafe for women and girls. No committee is working towards making the city safe. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) disbanded the Special Task Force (STF), and directed the Lieutenant Governor (LG) to form a committee, which hasn't been done. Even the Chief Secretary has held no meeting regarding women's safety since the last year. The system continues to be unaccountable."
