Frequent changes in weather hyping measles virus
Frequent changes in weather are boosting seasonal diseases. The month of March is famous for causing disease such as viral fever, flu, chicken pox, measles etc. It happens due to the sudden change in weather as our body takes time to adapt to the change in the atmosphere. Thus, known as morbilli or rubeola, measles infection is rampant these days.

The presence of measles virus in body causes high fever and rashes all over the body. The rashes starts on the face and then spread all over the body. This infection lasts upto 10-15 days and happens in the month of March when the weather and atmosphere struggle to settle from winters to summer season.

High fever, running nose, sore throat, cough, sore eyes, restlessness etc., are the basic symptoms of measles, which usually develop ten to twelve days before one's body get expose to the actual infection. Perhaps, this disease commonly exist in young age group and it is more severe in the chronically ill children.

It is caused because of contaminated and faulty food, low immunity level, un-hygenic lifestyle, contact with an infected person and even invisible droplets of moisture from infected person's sneeze or cough are enough to transfer the virus to a healthy person.

However, as it is highly contagious infection from four days before to after four days when red rashes breaks out, one should maintain a distance from the infected person during this time. The one who has not been fully vaccinated or are un-immunized can easily get infected by this virus.

But one can cure it through combination of vaccine like measles, mups and rubella (MMR) or measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV).

It is not necessary that only toddlers will fall prey to this infection as even adults who had not been vaccinated in their childhood attack by the same virus. Other than vaccination, one also can beat this seasonal disease by opting home remedies like eating orange as it keeps body temperature at acute level. Apart from this, bathing in lukewarm water when virus is highly active, adding turmeric or garlic or valerian in your meal, drinking normal water and even usage of herb i.e Chamomile during the high days can plummet the activated virus at certain extent.
