Question 1: How do I post a photo?
Answer 1: To be able to submit photos, you need to login with your registered Citizen Journalist ID. If you aren't registered, click "Sign up now", register and start reporting.
Question 2: Will all my photo(s) be published?
Answer 2: Our content moderator team scans every photo that comes in. Any submission that is found to be derogatory or pornographic will be rejected.
Question 3: When will my photos be published?
Answer 3: The customary wait time for photo(s) to get published on the portal is 24 hours. However due to the high volume of contributions we receive, there may be occasional delays in publishing your contributions.
Question 4: Who will see my photos?
Answer 4: Your photos will be viewed by the visitors on merinews. Merinews visitors typically include people who are looking for news and opinion from common people, corporate houses who are looking for community discussions around their brand and thousands of journalists and reporters from mainstream media who are looking to pick up news leads.
Question 5: Can I delete my photo after posting?
Answer 5: Once your photo/ album is published on the site, you cannot delete it, however, you can send across an photo deletion request with a valid reason by using the Contact Us form. We shall review the request and respond to it accordingly.
