Friendship needs no words, yet some wise words on friendship
Every year the first Sunday of month August is celebrated as the Friendship Day. On this day we rejoice our relationship with our friends. We exchange friendship belts on this occasion. Friendship needs no words to be explained.

In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, affection, and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis.
