Fundamental/Human Rights to remove political corruption
Constitutional Authorities are meant to protect the rights of their citizens, but they forfeit these rights. Give us our Fundamental Rights and see how corruption will be removed from the political system in India.
GIVE US our Fundamental Rights and see how corruption will be removed from the political system in India. There is nothing wrong in our Constitution but the Judiciary is not accepting its liability to protect the Fundamental Rights of Indian citizens, in whose faithful names this beautiful Constitution was drafted very ably by our Constitutional Assembly led by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
1. The Election Commission (EC) should hold elections in a free and fair manner, which is basic of Parliamentarian Democracy. Every priority should be removed in allotment of serial numbers to political parties because priorities and fairness cannot go hand in hand. It is priority that inspires top political parties to collect the party ticket money from their candidates.
2. When public and private servants get the incentive in form of paid holiday on every Election Day, then why shouldn’t others get the same incentive in cash or in kind by the EC to protect the right of Equality of status and opportunity?
3. If a candidate of any political party is found guilty by court then that particular political party should be derecognized in that particular constituency because it was unable to give an honest and innocent candidate from that area. That political party had played with the Fundamental Democratic Right of the citizens of that area.
It is EC’s duty to protect the Democratic Rights of citizens of the nation.
4. The EC should provide at least one mobile number for submitting photo SMS of any immoral activity conducted by any politician or his agents during elections. There are more than 70 crore mobile phones in India with cameras. Out of these, more than 30 crore are with educated boys and girls below the age of 30. They all are ready to remove political corruption from our country with their little contribution. Then the same photo SMS should be downloaded to a separate website without disclosing the phone number of the sender. This photo SMS should be placed before the constituency without telling anyone who is agent of which politician, and the decision should be left to the public. With this facility the EC will protect the Fundamental Rights of citizens provided under Article 19 of the Constitution, which gives freedom to the right of speech and expressions.
5. Individual hoardings should be banned during elections in order to secure Justice: social, economical and political as provided in the Preamble to the Constitution.
