Whenever we happen to see any child labour the blame goes to the government for not being able to help them. However, in many cases its the parents who don?t have any information of knowledge and the importance of education

We find even many of them begging on the streets. Why these tender hands have to go through such tough times?? Why are they still working so hard in spite of Child Labour Act?


As I have started exploring the situation of these tender hearts, I happen to meet their parents and found a dramatic reality. It’s not the government or any other organisation who are to be blamed, but it’s a great defect in the minds of their parents. Many say that their financial situation is not favourable for their child’s education, while the reality is that it is not so. In most cases, parents don’t have any idea about the importance of education, which can change their life completely. Normally, they just look out for some more money being added to their family’s income.

Due to the defect in their attitudes, they should be made aware of the changing world now. These children are suffering punishment for their parent’s ignorance. Its time that everyone of us must take some steps to make them realise how their life can change with minimum education and knowledge. If proper steps are not taken now it will be too late for any of these tender hearts to see a better life, which can also result in development of slums and curbing poverty in the country.


All we need to do is make the people know how we can change their life with proper education and to help the children go to school for at least primary education or get them into government schools by telling them of the basic needs to be in school.
