Gadkari exposed, BJPs claim on zero corruption proved an eyewash
The Gadkari expose by TIMES NOW dropped a fatal bombshell on nation's leading political party, BJP. BJP's politicos deliver towering sermon on corruption, probity and repeatedly take dig at Congress for strings of corruption. Though we gullible Indians too know that both the parties are neck-deep immersed in corruption barring handful of politicos. They don't practice what they preach. However, nobody thought navigator of BJP's ship, Nitin Gadkari too will find himself on sticky, humiliating pitch.

THE RECENT startling expose on BJP’s national president Nitin Gadkari by a leading news channel has sent shock waves across political spectrum raising grave questions on collapsing probity in politics. More shocking was BJP and RSS’ response to this whole sordid, embarrassing incident.

I don’t hold any brief for any political party as I am apolitical; however, I will not hesitate in calling spade a spade. The Gadkari expose by TIMES NOW dropped a fatal bombshell on nation’s leading political party, BJP. BJP’s politicos deliver towering sermon on corruption, probity and repeatedly take dig at Congress for strings of corruption. Though we gullible Indians too know that both the parties are neck-deep immersed in corruption barring handful of politicos.

They don’t practice what they preach. However, nobody thought navigator of BJP’s ship, Nitin Gadkari too will find himself on sticky, humiliating pitch.

Reports say he allegedly founded fictitious companies, planted fictious directors; these companies were registered at fictitious addresses. These dubious companies were investors and share holders in Purti Power and Sugar Limited, a company owned by Gadkari. Why? Under the guise of these fictitious companies, Gadkari and his coterie of yes men carried out their murky business transactions…Gadkari’s driver, Manohar Phanse was director in five such fictitious companies. Why? The humiliating, shady stories of Gadakri have been in public domain since the last couple of days. People who are directors feign ignorance.

Often to garner support and emotionally strike a chord with gullible people, BJP says: It’s a party with a difference and has zero tolerance for corruption. Though we know, real picture contrasts tall claims. Rumour mills in political corridors were abuzz, to evade embarrassment, Gadkari will put in his papers. Shocking but true! Despite corroborating evidences of gross impropriety, Gadkari refuse to step down. Is this not hypocrisy? What was more shocking was BJP unleashed a battery of national leaders to support Gadkari. Sushma Swaraj, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javdekar came out with their own versions to save their allegedly corrupt prez, Gadkari.

Everybody was expecting an honest, unbias stand from patriarch, LK Advani, but he too was seen supporting Gadkari. BJP’s tall claims on probity and corruption once again proved hollow, without substance. Coverup exercise has already begun. All efforts are being made by BJP top brass to push the Gadkari issue under the carpet. What precedent they are setting?

These so called guardians of Hindus, RSS’ hypocrisy too were exposed. They preach tall sermons about ethics, probity in Indian society, leaves no stone unturned in taking dig at Congress for rampaging corruption, when it comes to BJP they have different standards. Why? Its gross hypocrisy. Their headhoncho, Sarsanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat called Gadkari issue as BJP’s internal matter. Shocking but true.

How can we look up to BJP as an alternate of corrupt Congress when their president himself is immersed in corruption?
