Gajendra Singh's suicide: Was it an innovative political stunt that went terribly wrong?
After Gajendra Singh's suicide at AAP's rally in New Delhi, many shocking and disturbing revelations are coming out through various TV channels and media web pages. If all the dots are joined, it indicates towards a terrible story. Before coming to the possible story, let me first put the informations available on this issue on the desk.
First, Gajendra Singh was neither a poor nor a farmer in true sense. His financial condition was very sound. He had a showroom and even some say that he had a farm house also. He was one the best turbanator (fixing turbans over head). He had fixed turbans on many VIPs including ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Barack Obama. He had also got rewards for this.

Although he belonged to a farmer family but he was concentrating on political and social spaces. He was earlier part of Rajasthan unit of Samajwadi Party, and then joined the Congress party. Couple of years ago he joined AAP and he remained one of the active members of the AAP. His father was always dissatisfied because he was not giving time to farming and his family.

Second, Gajendra's family was not in distress because of crop loss as in Dousa less than 24% loss occurred. On the contrary, there was a celebration spirit because of upcoming marriage function at his home. Reportedly he was not interested in attending AAP's rally because of preparation of the marriage function, but as a top leader of AAP asked him over telephone to come to Delhi, he finally decided to attend the rally.

He reportedly met Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia few hours before the rally. Allegedly some top AAP leaders had contacted him on his cell phone before the rally.

Some video footages also show that some alleged AAP volunteers helped Gajendra in climbing the tree and also passed him a broom, which is AAP's electoral symbol. While sitting on the tree's branch, Gajendra raised some slogans against the land bill to which a crowd below the tree applauded.

Then he tied one end of the towel around the branch and the other end around his neck. That was the time when AAP leader Kumar Vishwas was speaking and telling the farmer to come down. But by that time Gajendra was already hanging in air for few moments before his foot rested on the lower branch.

Police wanted to rush to the spot, but they were stopped by AAP volunteers. (This is registered in the FIR). Very importantly Zee News has shown a video footage where it was shown that somebody on the podium said "latak Gaya" and then Kumar Vishwas signalled in such a manner which says  'mission accomplished'.

Now if I connect all dots, the story comes out like this. May be Gajendra Singh was asked to perform a stunt of mock suicide to make the rally very emotional. His connection with top leaders of AAP only justifies it. His role perhaps was to just conduct a mock suicide there and he was to be saved by AAP men who were ready to send him to the hospital. Had this stunt got successful, AAP rally would have been super duper hit.

But unfortunately an accident might have occurred when Gajendra's leg slipped which made him to hang in air for few moments and this momentary hanging might have proved fatal for him. That's why when Kumar Vishwas signalled mission accomplished, he was having a little knowledge that the mock suicide stunt had gone wrong and the man had died.

The above is just a theory and I don't wish it to be true, but if this comes out as a true story, then God can only save AAP.

Let me take up the argument point by point and advance my rebuttal. No – 1, Police wanted to rush to the spot, but they were stopped by AAP volunteers. (This is registered in the FIR). Why no TV Camera was able to capture that very action when AAP volunteers were stopping the Police? No -2, Very importantly Zee News has shown a video footage where it was shown that somebody on the podium said "latak Gaya" and then Kumar Vishwas signalled in such a manner which says 'mission accomplished'. Dear Writer, in front of someone a person figuratively got hanged. Pleas describe in Hindi how to speak about it? No – 3, Visnwas signaled in such a manner which says ‘Mission accomplished.” What was the scientific and logical reasoning the author has in his sleeves to ascertain the manner of Kumar Vishwas? No 4. Now if I (the author of this article) connect all dots, the story comes out like this. How, my dear Sir, you are connecting the dots that are more the hypothetical flickering assumptions and not the solid camera footings or the circumstantial evidence? No – 5. May be Gajendra Singh was asked to perform a stunt of mock suicide to make the rally very emotional? It might be the dream or hallucination that has no proof Mr Acharya? No - 6. His role perhaps was to just conduct a mock suicide there and he was to be saved by AAP men who were ready to send him to the hospital. Had this stunt got successful, AAP rally would have been super duper hit. Please don’t insult the dead man. Nobody gives up his life like that. Place of stunts are in circus and a political rally. No – 7. But unfortunately an accident might have occurred when Gajendra's leg slipped which made him to hang in air for few moments and this momentary hanging might have proved fatal for him. Was there no camera to catch those critical moments? I think Kumar Viswas is a man of integrity and intelligence and the sincere write should avoid making such unsubstantiated charges. ‘That's why when Kumar Vishwas signalled mission accomplished, he was having a little knowledge that the mock suicide stunt had gone wrong and the man had died.’ The above is just a theory and I don't wish it to be true, but if this comes out as a true story, then God can only save AAP. It proves that the write-up is more the bias then honest analysis of situation – without the solid proof.
