Gandhi my father director thanks AAFT students
The director of the award winning film, Gandhi my father, Feroz Abbas Khan, thanked Asian Academy of Film and Television(AAFT) and its students for their help in the film's production. Produced by Anil Kapoor, the film has won three national awards.
FEROZ ABBAS Khan, the director of the award winning feature film Gandhi My Father, was at Asian Academy Of Film And Television (AAFT) to pay his gratitude to the institution for the untiring help extended by its students during the production of the film. The film has bagged three National Awards.
He said, “I am so thankful to Sandeep Marwah, the director of the institution for referring me the students of AAFT for my film when I was at Marwah Studios, making my first film.”
Khan was talking to the students of 64th batch at Noida Film City. Hetalked about many students from previous batches who had worked with him, including Gurmeet Singh who has been with him as his first AD, Ridhima Pandey as costume incharge and Pratikh Sapra as AD for “Gandhi..”.
“I am impressed by the quality of education, the institute is imparting at AAFT as I need no more proof than the honest, hardworking and intelligent students who have worked with me.” he added.
“I am so thankful to Anil Kapoor, the producer of this film Feroz Abbas Khan, for showing so much of confidence in the institution and I assure that this confidence will remain the same forever ”said Sandeep Marwah, the president of AAFT. Later Marwah presented life membership of International Film and Television Club to Khan.
