GAO EMBEDDED has rolled out a high frequency RFID reader module – an easy-to-use unit specially designed to serve three distinct market applications: product authentication, access control and contactless payment. Working in conjunction with an 85mm × 85mm external antenna, it supports a read distance of 14cm or 8cm depending on the specific application. The reader provides industry-leading security and practical features at a practical price.
GAO Embedded’s HF RFID reader module, model 713010, includes a 9.6kbps to 38.4kbpsUART (TTL) host interface, four general purpose I/O and an intuitive API. The output power is 50mW to 200mW. This anti-counterfeiting 13.56MHz RFID reader features a compact size, easy integration, intelligent software and minimal power consumption. It also provides customers with a significant cost-performance advantage.
