The Garjana rally for a separate Telangana went off peacefully and the meeting has hinted all political parties for serious consequences. The JAC of students has warned all political parties to be prepared for January 5 meeting, scheduled in Delhi.
LAKHS OF students roared for separate Telangana at Osmania University in Hyderabad in a rally organised by Telangana Vidyarthi Garjana (roaring of students) on Sunday (January 3) evening. As far as Telangna agitation is concerned, this is the biggest rally ever and students of all ten Telangana districts have participated voluntarily.
The Join Action Committee (JAC) of students has warned all political parties to be prepared to argue for separate statehood on January 5 meeting, scheduled in Delhi with Union government.
JAC has threatened to carry out an agitation against the political leaders and parties, who do not support the cause of a separate Telengana.
Furthermore, they threatened the Andhra residents that they won’t be allowed to come back once they left for Sankranti festival to their places. They appealed to all Andhra leaders not to obstruct the separate Telangana on January 5 meeting in Delhi. They have also threatened to launch rail roko andolan on a massive scale like the Gujjars did in Rajastan. No bus would be allowed to enter into Telangna from Andhra.
As per the court orders, the meeting was held peacefully and it ended by 6.30 pm, no political leader participated but political JAC convener Prof Kodanda Ram and Madiga Porata, samithi chief Krishna Madiga and Maoist sympathiser Varavara Rao attended the rally and addressed the students.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chnadrasekhara Rao and its party mentor Prof Jayasankar have left for Delhi to participate in January 5 meeting.
