The show is hosted at the Geneva Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport.
This year in Geneva Auto Show 2010, Audi is all set to launch two of its hybrid cars, Audi Q5 hybrid and Audi A8 hybrid. Both Audi Q5 hybrid and Audi A8 hybrid is expected to be launched in the US by 2011.
Audi Q5 hybrid is Audi's first hybrid car which is of 2.0-liter TFSI engine, rated at 211 hp, and an electric motor. This car with a gasoline engine and an electric motor.
Audi A8 hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine and an electric motor with a combined output of 245 horsepower. Average fuel consumption is 38 mpg. The A8 hybrid has an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission.
During the 80th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, which runs from March 4-14, 2010, will focus on what is new and on what is evolving. Some 100 World and European Premiers in the sector of private vehicles will be presented. There will be a clear trend toward more and more ecologically friendly automobiles.
Geneva Motor Show 2010 opening time during the week days will be from 10 am to 8 pm at their local time and on weekends timing will be from 9 am to 7 pm. Tickets of the show will be available online. The International Geneva Motor Show was first organized in 1905.
