George Michael, whose real name is Georgios Panayiotou, will appear at London’s Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on August 24.
Singer George Michael was arrested on July 4, after he crashed his Range Rover into a photo store called, Snappy Snaps, in Hampstead in the early hours when he was returning from a gay pride march in London.
In an interview last year, The Careless Whisper singer George Michael admitted smoking marijuana-laced cigarettes. In 2007, George was banned from driving for two years. He was busted on suspicion of possessing drugs after he was found slumped at the wheel of his car.
He was arrested in September 2008 after being caught in a public toilet in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. Last year, the British singer was questioned by police after his car hit a tractor-trailer, but was released.
