China has seen the opportunity in this and is making hoards of these bags so that anyone can buy a Prada bag without spending all their month’s income on a dress or shoe. When asked to retail shops that sells these bags, they say that most of the people buy the bags for their logo.

 

The trend is not that common in India but in big cities like Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai people are seen carrying branded bags. The trend that is taking the West by a storm is not far from coming to India as people are moving towards superficiality. When asked Simran Panda, as to why she carries her Tiffin to work in these bags, in spite of carrying a big handbag she replies, “These bags are beautiful to look at and moreover they are sturdy than normal bags.”

 

While this is a harmless business and no one should have any concern but for the fact that there would be a time when sellers would be able to dope the buyers into buying something that is not authentic with the help of these bags. Hopefully, the customers make an informed buy, especially if they are buying stuff from the Internet.
