Girish Kumar new DGP of AP
SSP Yadav DGP of AP has been shunted out of police department and posted as MD of APSRTC. Girish Kumar has been appointed in his place, His commitment will definitely boost the image of the state police.
THE CONTROVERSIAL police officer SSP Yadav, the DGP of Andhra Pradesh has been removed from his post and told to join as Managing Director of APSRTC. Girish Kumar has been appointed in his place.
The intelligence chief Aravinda Rao has been made DG of the Anti Corruption Bureau. Mahendra Reddy is the new intelligence chief in his place.

After taking over as Chief Minister Rosaiah has taken his first major decision to change the DGP as he did not perform well during the funeral of YSR in Idupulalaya. This was noted by all the opposition parties and they asked the Chief Minister to remove him immediately. Known for his harassment of journalists and fellow colleagues he was removed by the Election Commissioner during the general elections for praising former Chief Minister YSR. Soon after winning the election the compassionate YSR reinstated him.
Chief Minister Rosaiah has extended the service of his Chief Secretary Ramakanta Reddy for three months and sent the DGP out of the police department.
