Girl child: Injustice and isolation remains the fate
Sex ratio in India is getting more and more disproportionate over the years. Unfortunately the educated and the elite still seem to consider their male child a status symbol, and thereby partake in creating an imbalance in the male-female sex ratio.

WOMAN IS denoted as Shakti in every culture, religion or country, yet they are the ultimate sufferers, they bear every pain which we impose on them in the name of society, culture or religion and now in name of modeling or advertising. In Hinduism women are worshiped as goddesses whereas in Qur’an women hold special value, Christians gives Mother Marry highest position, yet women have to face the dark aspect of our society.

Every day thousands of girls are raped, thousands of girls are pushed into the flesh trade, thousands lie in the claws of painful rituals that we have made for sake of so called society and religion, and thousands are put into advertisements as if they are commodities.

We are in the 21st century yet women are finding hard to get there place in the society they are still ruled by the cruel laws made by men, they are still on the mercy of those who themselves have born in love and care of women. The pain of women seems to be endless........

Female feticide

Honour Killing

It is one of the biggest shames to the society, we call India a democratic country but where does democracy go when it comes to girls? When it comes to freedom of women, why women don’t have a choice according to their will, Khap people feel honoured when they kill the girl who is in love with the boy of other Gotra but do we once think about the girl?

Just give a second thought for what honor they are fighting for, after killing they will be behind the bar and will be called as murderers and the family will get the label and honour of criminals, But the big question is: why do we need to do so just because of society or the neighbours, who rarely come to help you out when you are in trouble, and definitely they will not accompany you when you will be behind the bar, so for these peoples are we killing our own daughters? The answer is still awaited as none have it

Rape

Every day in the headline one can find a girl or two raped or gang raped in the city, a recent survey showed girls are unsafe even in the capital, many don’t even complain just for the sake of their family, many commit suicide. It is a fact that and  I am acquainted with the fact that in the national near Bair Sarai its very hard for girls to go out for a girl later 9:30 pm. If they venture out they are teased, touched, and face lewd comments and the zone dose not have even police patrolling,

We ask for male child but why are we unable to give them values that women should be respected they are not things to be used girls have the right to live their life with pride ,we need to ask ourselves that are we teaching our children that “ things are to be loved and people are to be used" or “people are to be loved and things are to be used’ I don’t know but I believe that today’s generation is consumerist and behind this behavior parents are equally responsible. When a boy commits a rape, he is not disrespected but the girl loses the dignity and respect in the society.

The story of problems faced by girls does not stop here! Every day during college, while at work, standing at a bus stand wherever they go they have to face lewd comment from boys, who stare them as stray dogs hover over a piece of flesh. Since the day, a  girl takes birth they face the harsh aspect of society they are disliked by their own parents or guardians as compared to a male  child, later nature plays its role at age of 14 they face the pain of cycle and at certain age while giving birth to child she again feels the pain,

The question is how long will we be the spectators to these problems and pains being faced by girls. Already nature has given her so much to bear why do we need to add more pains, choice is yours keep these soft petals with care else get ready to stay alone in this world
