Girl stripped while people, police laugh and do nothing
In state capital Patna, one girl was stripped in full public view but no one came to her rescue. It has put before us many questions, not related to law and order but to human dignity and duties of a vigilant citizen
IN A bizarre incident on exhibition road, Patna’s one of the busiest road, one girl was stripped in full public view on Thursday evening (July 23). This shameful incidence was witnessed by large number of people including some traffic policemen on the duty. One drunken youth, allegedly the boy friend of that girl in name of searching the girl for his mobile phone, which he reportedly said the girl had stolen, striped the girl and the crowd watched this dastardly act happily. Some even went on to take snaps with mobile phones.
When one local electronic media aired this news along with some footage, the government swung into action but by this time some people in the crowd mustered courage when the drunken boy wanted to outrage her modesty in full public view after almost striping her, beat the boy and took him to the local police station, which was hardly 200 yards away from the place of occurrence.
Taking strong view of the incident, CM has ordered DGP of probing into the entire incident and doing the needful. The police after initial inquiry, however, said that the girl is a call girl and a scuffle took place between her and the boy who is her pimp, who later did all above mentioned shameful acts.
The state women commission’s chairperson has also condemned the incident and asked a report from the police. This incident has tarnished the image of the government, which claims that law and order has improved and police has now more free hands to work. Surprisingly only one ASI has been put under suspension, whereas; the residences of SSP, RSP and host of senior police officers are hardly few yards away from the place of occurrence.

The crime graph in state capital has risen sharply and police has been reportedly helpless in many of such crimes. Quite recently, one employee of former CM Rabri Devi was severely beaten up by some criminals but nothing could be done and no arrest was made.

.this is the most heinous crime,it is a shame for all indians,it is a slap on the face of pratibha patil sonia gandhi and all mp's in the assemblely.these impowered ladies immediately should react and there should be rigourous punishment for culprit so that no one can dare again...................

.How sickening to read such things happening..What point of having police if they actually do nothing and LAUGH...And the mentality of the people who were taking pictures from their cellphones...Its so pathetic and such a heineous deed..indeed!!!

Where is the home ministry?Can't the centre take action if the local police fail. Why did the public do nothing?
I think it is high time the public takes laws inot their own hands if the police fail.
Some parts of north india the panchyats are doing thekillings. Should panchayats be banned. A handful of uneducated men rule a village. A casteisn is still a problem in these areas. no wonder people are coverting. Guys wake up if you want to save the poor, the helpless, women and the downtrodden. India is going to the dogs.

.This incident was took place in crowed.....And now the ppl r saying shame on nitish kumar..Yaar do the nitish know that the boy will drink and do such thing's on public place.The public shoulde be shame.And the local police shoulde be shame.because this incident was took place infront of them.So place stop blameing game.And dont compare the nitish kumar to lalu yadav ji.Every one know who is lalu and what do lalu do when he was C.M.And when his wife was C.M.NITISH JI U NEED TO WORK SO MUCH HARD SO THAT NO SUCH LALU CAN COME INFRONT OF U.....
.it was the worst situation for the whole patnaites, media group, police who stand silince on that time. Is today womens are safe in moving in day time at public place. I think that socity shoud think over it take a huge action.
Right pankaj, the whole society is responsible. We always fight for ourselves not for others. How can a society be called a civil society in such situation
