Girls in Jaipur's MGD School learn organic farming techniques
M.G.D. Girls School in collaboration with an NGO Morarka Foundation has introduced Organic Waste composting and Tray Cultivation in the school campus.

Nature club of M.G.D. School and Morarka Foundation are committed to clean environment and sustainable development. It is very important to take care about our environment because our health directly depends on the health of our environment.

The week-long training programme aims to educate students on waste management through different techniques of composting to reduce, recycle and reuse of waste for chemical free vegetable production in trays or less space at their home.

Anand Mani Shukla of Morarka Foundation said, “We will provide technical knowledge for the systematic development of organic waste composting to these students. The students will get training on various composting techniques and for vegetable production in tray using organic compost.”

Suniti Sharma, Principal of MGD School said such training programme is very helpful in creating awareness amongst students towards the harmful effects of chemicals and fertilizers “on our body and health.”
