The government's scheme of giving land to landless people so that they could own the land and till the land for harvesting has met with success. It would be a good idea if this scheme is made nationally applicable throughout the country.
SOME STATE government have succeeded in giving land to landless people, so that they could own the land till the land for harvesting and then sell their produce in the market for raising money to earn their livelihood.
This scheme has met with success in many states. It would be a good idea if this scheme is made nationally applicable throughout the country. People, who are impoverished and have nothing left with them and rely on begging can find this scheme an excellent one for their progress.
Special efforts should to be made to make this scheme a grand success by encouraging buyers to purchase products generated through such schemes for ensuring wealth distribution is equitable done. Even this scheme should be targeted at all those living in slums with a paltry income for bettering their lives.
The success of the above scheme would mean a big jump in the farmers’ category and it will be easy to monitor them for their sustained growth. The redistribution of land is an important issue in many states, where it is held by powerful zamindars and particular sections of society. In some states, the land reforms were carried out after independence but in majaority of areas in North and Central India, large section of rural populace is still without land and this scenario needs correction.
I welcome this move to empower landless by giving them land
and request to assist them with financially till the land provides them produce. The aim should be -no one should die of starvation.
