Global car manufacturers to use Delhi Auto Expo 2012 as launch pad
During the 11th edition of this biennial fair around 1500 participants from 23 countries will be participate, and there will be around 50 launches, including cars, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
THE 25th YEAR of the mega automobile show in India is going to start from January 5 with media events and will continue until January 11. During the Asia's largest automotive show, Delhi Auto Expo 2012 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, around 1500 participants from 23 countries will be participate.
During the 11th edition of this biennial fair there will have around 50 launches in the schedule including those of cars, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. During the 11th Auto Expo, many automobile leaders from domestic and international circuit will also showcase future vehicles that will be launched sooner or later in the Indian market. The Auto Expo started in 1986.
The biggest car manufacturer and market leader of the country, Maruti Suzuki will showcase small concept SUV Ertiga MPV at the 2012 Auto Expo. According to a report, the seven-seater Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will come with a new 1.4-litre K-Series petrol engine. The other Indian leading car makers,
Tata Motors will display Manza Hybrid during the biennial auto expo in New Delhi.
The Korean car makers, Hyundai whose market share is next to Maruti in the country will likely to display a concept SUV HND - 7 during the 11th Auto Expo. It is also expected that Hyundai to launch its Sonata, also known as i45 during the mega event.
The one of the biggest event of the Delhi Auto Expo 2012 will be the launch of small car by Bajaj Auto. This car will direct compete with Tata's 2008 Auto Expo sensation - Nano as well as other 800 cc petrol version cars.
During the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi, Renault will launch two new models, Renault Pulse and Renault Duster, whereas the French car manufacturer Peugeot will launch its Peugeot 508 sedan during the expo.
The other global automobile giants like Audi will preview Q3 SUV, the Italian
sports car manufacturer;
Ferrari will bring its entire line-up, Mercedes Benz will unveal its all-new A-class concept hatchback, SLS AMG Roadster and
Ford to display Ford Eco Sport. Toyota, Chevrolet, and Force Motors will display its redesigned models Toyota Fortuner,
Chevrolet Captiva and Force One, during the biennial global automobile exhibition, Delhi Auto Expo 2012.
