Go for Gandhi's trusteeship model under corporate social responsibility to lift disadvantaged sections of society: Vice Chancellor MM Goel
"To win the elections in 2019, the politicians both in power and opposition should wear the concave lens of the kind of Mahatma Gandhi which unite people instead of convex lens leadership dividing people on caste, religion, language and regional basis, said Professor M.M. Goel, Vice Chancellor Jagan Nath University, Jaipur.

He was delivering the presidential address in the valedictory function of the International Conference on "150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi" organized by the Dept. of History, Kurukshetra University.

Trusteeship of Mahatma Gandhi is an idea of India which needs to be understood, analyzed, interpreted and adopted by the entire world of corporate sector, believes Professor Goel.

The socio-economic development of Indians is a distant dream without Sanaskar Model flowing from 'Trusteeship' under corporate social responsibility (CSR) towards the disadvantaged sections of the society in a mission mode with ten percent contribution at least from their profits, opined Professor Goel.

To pay real tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, we need to convert Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) in to a multinational national corporation (MNC) capable of solving the twin sister problems poverty and unemployment of India. If he could have been alive today, he would have advocated internationalization of Indianization through Khadi which was more than clothing for him during freedom movement as `swadeshi` for fetching the fortunes of globalization under World Trade Organization (WTO), believes Professor Goel .

Professor Manohar lal Former Director Gandhi Bhawan, Punjab University, Professor Salil Mishra,Pro Vice Chancellor Ambedkar University Delhi and Dr.Md.Ziaul Haque Sheikh of Jagannath University, Dhaka Bangladesh also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, Professor Amarjeet Singh, Director International Conference and HOD History presented the report of the two days event also proposed vote of thanks also..
