Go girl, get your dreams
I say this to all the little girls out there that it is time to break out. So girls, run, sprint, go and get your dreams. Don't just dream to fly to your destiny. Go and get it, whatever it takes then.
WHEN A girl is small, she is loved, cared and protected by her parents. She is the most beautiful thing to her dad and a much anticipated friend to her mother. She is treated equally like her brother. As she grows up, she begins to feel the change and the truth finally dawns on her that she is way too different from her brother and that she does not hold the same privileges her brother could hold at her age.

She is often told to be polite and sweet and it would not work for her if she is rude, which would still be passed for a boy. She should not get into fights because that is not how a girl should act. She should be a pretty barbie doll, which is mistaken by some who forget that this little doll thinks and has her heart and brain. Later, it is not really appreciated if she has friends who are boys."Boys should not be my daughter's friends. That is not acceptable."

Why do they forget that friendship knows no bounds? It is so ironical that when a girl turns 16, she is 'just not allowed' to befriend boys but as she turns 22, she is pushed around to see and meet more and more boys for the prospect of marriage."Dumb heads." This is the only word that comes to my mind at the moment for them. One of the worst problems a girl faces in her life is the suppression of her thoughts and ideas.

A girl is considered incapable alone. Her voice is suppressed. Be it in choosing her work field and even a husband. Many a times, it has been seen that talent is wasted just because she is a girl who did not have enough support from the society. Why is it that being a girl becomes a curse to her very own existence? Only if her thoughts and feelings had not been suppressed, who knows she could have reached the heights a boy could not even imagine.

She has imagination so wide that she dreams to fly to that place where she sees herself to be. Our society is hypocritical. It just preaches and moreover is plagued with customs and senility. She needs to break out and change its attitude towards the little girl. This society has been cruel to her. And I should also say to all the litlle girls out there that it is time to break out. So girls, run, sprint, go and get your dreams. Dont just dream to fly to your destiny. Go and get it, whatever it takes then.
