Before it's too late, we must act both indiviadually and as a society. Today, however, there is a greater awareness of the harm done to our environment - leading to active measures being taken both by the government as well as NGOs and pro-active individuals.Since the last few years, the alarming changes taking place in our environment has been a hot topic. The common man is distressed about the situation, but is it leading to any real response? Very often, people discuss these issues but do little else.

Also,many of these products are indigeneously manufactured, thereby supporting the livelihoods of many people.In order to promote an appropriate consciousness the educationists have introduced environment as a compulsory subject of study across schools of the country. This acknowledges the greater role students can play in sensitising people regarding the repercussions of thoughtless environmental degradation.The youth can easily 'SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS' and 'SAY NO TO CRACKERS' and yes to water harvesting and solar heating in homes.So, people let us join hands to provide acleaner, greener and healthier environment to ourselves and our future generations.What better incentive do we need to bring about changes in the choices we make?
