BOLLYWOOD AGAIN rejoiced when the two famous warring Khan families greeted each other at the 56th film fare awards held last week.
The enmity that made headlines almost 3 years back when SRK and Salman Khan fought at Katrina Kaif’s birthday seems to have ended. Post that fight, a re-union between the two almost seemed like an impossible task.
The eye witnesses were not able to believe their eyes when SRK greeted Salman’s brother Arbaaz and his wife Malaika Arora khan with a warm hug at the filmfare awards. The couple also chatted for a long time with the King Khan. Arbaaz was not far behind to cheer for “My Name is Khan” star when he was performing with Madhuri Dixit in the event.
The patch up is presumed to be an initiative of Gauri Khan, who took the efforts to bring the families at peace when she was seen interacting with Salman at Sohail’s birthday party held recently.
Some other eminent Bollywood personalities like Aamir Khan, who is known to be close to both SRK and Salman, also walked an extra mile by inviting both Salman and Shah Rukh to his nephew Imran's wedding reception which will be held on February 5 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai.
Recently, Shah Rukh was also seen trying to make peace with Salman by posting comments and accepting his fault on Karan Johar's show, Koffee With Karan. It was clearly evident that SRK regretted the split between them.
