Google and Verizon announce 'open Internet'
It is evident that both the companies Google and Verizon want to go for a transparent and open wired internet. It is also suggested by market experts that they may have different plans for their wireless Internet.
AS ALREADY reported last week that two big companies, Google and Verizon were in talks over net neutrality, latest reports suggest that the companies have detailed their plans over the same and are calling it ‘open Internet’. This move from both the company has convinced the FCC to put an end to net neutrality negotiations.

It is evident that both the companies, Google and Verizon, want to go for a transparent and open wired internet. It is also suggested by market experts that they may have different plans for their wireless Internet.

“We both recognise that wireless broadband is different from the traditional wireline world, in part because the mobile marketplace is more competitive and changing rapidly,” said the two companies.

This move from the companies can have serious implications as the proposed plans for the wireless broadband gives the ability to the providers to choose what content should be delivered to clients and how fast they will be delivered. This means certain kind of content will be delivered on priority and for a good some of money. At the same time there will be some content which will be delivered at a slow pace and might be blocked as well.

There are many persons who are against these plans which are harmful to individuals as they will have to pay premium price for some content and may be, some content of their choice is not available for download from a certain wireless provider.
