HIGHLY ANTICIPATED Google Apps Marketplace, the newly launched Google Apps store is finally here. The online Google store was finally launched on Tuesday evening. The online store offers third party developers access to more than 25 million Google Apps users - both adminstrators and users of paid and free Google Apps.
These third party Google Apps developers will get access to all Google apps data for apps supported by OpenID-based single sign-on and OAuth-authorized access, in a matter of a few clicks. After this, these third party Google Apps will be integrated into the main menu of Google Apps Marketplace.
Google Apps Marketplace product manager Chris Vander Mey said, "With administrator approval, [third party Google apps] may interact with calendar, email, document and/or contact data to increase productivity. Administrators can manage the applications from the familiar Google Apps control panel, and employees can open them from within Google Apps."
With OpenID integration, Google Apps users can access third party Google Apps without signing in for each one. They also don't need to update them or manually snyc data.
However, for a few months, companies will handle payments for third party Google Apps on their own, sans any aid from the Google Apps store. This will last at least till it releases the Google Apps Marketplace billing information, maybe in the second quarter of 2010.
People are searching all over the internet for information on this new Google Apps Store, the Google Apps Marketplace.
