Google doodle marks the beginning of ICC World T20 2016 Super 10 matches
Internet search engine giant Google marks the opening match of the ICC World T20 between India and New Zealand with a doodle on its India homepage. Today's doodle shows crossed cricket bats with ball on top. The caption read as 'The Black caps take on the Men in Blue'.

Indian team begins their campaign at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur, in the World T20 (Group 2) league match against New Zealand. Earlier, a qualifying round was played between 8 teams including Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Oman, Scotland, Netherlands, Hong Kong and Afghanistan.

Further, the Super 10 stage has been divided into two groups. In Group 1, teams of Afghanistan, England, South Africa Sri Lanka, West and Indies have been included. On the other hand, Group 2 has Bangladesh, Australia, India, New Zealand and Pakistan teams. Consequently, top four teams from both groups will qualify for semi-finals of the WT20.

It may be mentioned that India is hosting the first time ever that the Twenty20 for which 7 Indian cities have been selected for it. The final will be played at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
