Google makes search more user friendly
In an attempt to keep competitors at bay, Google is making search engine more user friendly. In a latest addition, it is introducing a link between the search engine and the user's mails, which can be established provided users are logged in.

GOOGLE BELIEVES in innovation and in a latest endeavour, it has added to its site a bridge between the Google search engine and the gmail account of users. In a bid to send more personalized information, Google has come up with this idea.

Sudipta Sengupta, a prolific Internet user said, “This feature is nothing innovative but they (Google) are making online surfing more user specific with this.” This 'experiment' as was reported by ndtv.com was unveiled on Wednesday. If a user is searching the word 'Olympics' then all his/her mails with some mention of Olympics would feature on the right hand side of the search engine.

The first mail will correspond directly to the query while the following others would show others as well. In spite of being one of the most used search engine in the world, Google has not being able to install itself anything other than that and it doesn't want to lose out on that USP. The upcoming social networking sites pose a serious threat to the search engine king and thus in order to protect itself and continue to number one, Google tries various methods to infuse innovation in its search machine.

Google Buzz which did not put up a good show failed largely due to the privacy problems but with this feature, privacy is not a big concern as once the user logs out then no information about his emails would feature besides search queries.
