Google to launch Google TV by next year
Google had conducted a demonstration of its Google TV platform during the IFA Technology trade fair in Berlin. The service projects a search bar onto the top of TV screen and allows users to browse and search Internet while watching TV listings.
IN YET another path breaking technological advancement Google on Tuesday said that it had plans of launching its very own Google TV on a global platform by next year. The move is being looked as a technological advancement to bring technology inside the living rooms and bridge the gap between TV and internet. While delivering a key note at the technology summit, Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt said that the Internet is creating a great disruption, which is changing so many things. He also added that the company will work with content providers, but it is very unlikely that it will get into actual content production.
