Google homepage marks the celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2014 with a colourful interactive doodle. The much awaited event of the world, which takes place once every four years commences this evening in Brazil.
After the inaugural ceremony, the first match will be played between the host nation Brazil and Croatia. As per the schedule, today's match will be played at Sao Paulo's Itaquerao stadium.
The letters of Google logo do a little jig to depict Brazil's craze for Samba and football. Brazil has won the championship five times so far.
The doodle begins by showing a yellow and blue football that bounces in the centre of the screen. Thereafter, as the ball hits the central point, the letters of the logo start bouncing up and down with a background a view of Rio de Janeiro.
The doodle also depicts palm trees, sand, cable cars, Sugar Loaf Mountain and the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Moreover, on clicking the logo, you will get latest news on the FIFA World Cup.
