GOP Valentines Day cards: Laugh at Democrats expense
The Republican National Committee has set up a special page of GOP Valentines Day cards which poke fun at senior Democrats with satirical lines. These cards which may not be appropriate for romance, do ensure a hearty laugh.
THE REPUBLICANS had a lot of fun today on the expense of the democrats, when the Republican National Committee set up a special page of GOP Valentines Day cards which poke fun at senior Democrats with satirical lines.
Though these cards may not be appropriate for romantic purposes, they do ensure a hearty laugh, pointing out certain proclivities of these leaders. For instance, a card featuring Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reig says, "We Crafted This Valentine's Card Behind Closed Doors." Another one, with Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano says, "If You Received This Card, the System Worked."
A GOP Valentines Day card refering to when Al Franken had cut off Senator John McCain's statement on the Senate floor says, "In my capacity as the Senator from Minnesota I object to this Valentine's Card."
Even President Barack Obama is not spared. There are three cards that feature him. While one says,"I've Saved or Created Millions of Valentines", another starring him, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid exclaims "Please Accept This Valentine's Card, In Place of a Job."
