For truly good governance young, educated people in the country must come forward. Cast your vote without fear or prejudice. It is sad to find many educated Indians have no time or interest to cast their votes.
WE IN India have many political parties. Truly speaking, we have more than enough. But how many of these parties really work on ethics or principles.? In fact, what is a political party, and what does it have to offer the people?
On what lines should it work in order to reach out to the hearts of the people. I am often plagued by these questions.
Most of these parties work on the assumption that their identity and existence depends on abusing and criticising rival political parties. They feel that by highlighting the mistakes of the government they can win the hearts of the people. They intentionally blow up the problems. Their real intention is not to find solutions to these problems. Politicians make many problems to the people, especially prior to the elections. But how many of these do they fulfill when they come to power? They all seem to have just one slogan, "Today win, tomorrow we will see." That ’tomorrow’ never comes. Every Indian wants to see India on the top but how many of us really work for making this happen. It is sad to find many educated Indians have no time or interest to cast their votes. Little do they ponder at this irresponsible behavior? But when the government fails to deliver, these same people are the first to point fingers, find fault, and cry at poor governance. These Indians have no moral right to speak out if they have not voted. They must remember that good/eligible persons will not be selected if good people do not exercise their franchise. Every citizen has to discharge his\her duties before he raises questions against the duties of the government. He must under all circumstances cast his vote. The government has enough on its hand, these political parties only add to its woos by highlighting problems. The government has to tackle terrorism, Naxalism, inflation, financial crisis. The end sufferer in all agitations and riots is the common man. Have you ever seen a political party leader being killed in an agitation? It is clear that these parties have only been cheating people and continue to do so still. All political leaders show the common man a dream - that of living in a world of peace and bliss. But it is this common man who is being denied this happiness. It is day to day struggle for him for survival. The dreams of happiness remain just that – dreams. The government polices and plans are for common good but they fail to reach the common man because the leaders who control these policies fail to deliver. This is because we have chosen wrong leaders. The educated are not casting their valuable vote. To overcome these problems politics should reach the hands of ’Young guns of India” where the fate of India should be changed. It would give a solution. This is purely my opinion. If through my frankness I have hurt anybody I offer my unconditional apology. A big thank you to all for giving me a chance to express my views freely.
