AYA NAGAR residents have experienced the worst on this Friday (June 25) when couple of bulldozers and Central Reserve Police Force have stepped in for the demolishment of unauthorised constructions in the colonies. Lower income group families are highly affected by this demolition which was carried out on Friday morning. Families living with their children in the affected colonies are in high trauma. People with minimum income have somehow managed to buy a plot and build a house for living. Government bulldozer has swiped off their dreams now.
Many a times, it is been noticed that government has come out to be very proactive on such activities. When they are asked for implementing safety measurements than the government seems to be looking for all excuses. As per recent news regarding Bhopal gas tragedy the same government has taken twenty five long years to give compensation but in the case of demolition in Aya Nagar colonies they have shown their active participation. Bhopal citizens have given twenty five years in seeking justice to the government, likewise, residents of Aya Nagar like colonies should be given at least fair timeline to resettle before carrying out the bulldoze.
As reported by the local public, government notice was given to residents, the same day when the demolishment was carried out. Members in the parliament should take a note on this and a proper attention in this regard is highly recommended.
