During the Grammy Awards 2011, pop icons like Rihanna, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, Drake, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry were present at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old rapper Eminem, who was nominated for 10 Grammy Awards won Best Rap Solo performance for “Not Afraid” which is from his critically acclaimed album “Recovery”. Lady Gaga won Grammy Awards 2011 in the category of Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster.
Nominations for the 53rd Grammy Awards 2011 were announced on December 1 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, during a live concert performed by some of the nominees. The nominees were announced on the basis of recordings released between September 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010.
