All are busy in their lives when a phone call about the death of their coach changes everything and the families get together at the funeral.

IF YOU are going to watch Grown Up, trust us you will be in all tears. Not because of laughter, but to see the whole lot of talent getting wasted on-screen. The film Grown Up is of comedy genre and is directed by Dennis Dugan. The film is co-authored by Adam Sandler and Fred Wolf.

The story revolves around five friends who are champions in basketball game in 1979. After their game they get together and celebrate the victory with their coach. After the party they depart after the coach teaches them about wisdom of playing the game of life as honestly as the boys played the championship game. This is one moment of the film that is the heart of the story until the end.

The story is fast forwarded by some thirty years and we catch with the boys when they are middle-aged men. Lenny Fader (Adam Sandler) is a Hollywood agent and lives his life with his wife and three spoiled children. Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James) is an out of work businessman and lived with his wife and three children, Rob Hillard (Rob Schneiderr) is a massage therapist and has a wife some 20 years later. Marcus Higgins (David Spade) is an obnoxious layabout with little focus left in his life and Kurt McKenzie (Chris Rock) lives with his wife and mother-in-law and is a stay home dad.

All are busy in their lives when a phone call about the death of their coach changes everything and the families get together at the funeral. Sandler intends to suppose that all the troubles stem from an unconnected family unit and he succeeds.

Everyone had been waiting for the film, but it turns the other way out. It has completely failed to impress the audience.
