Guests at a Gurgaon restaurant beaten up by bouncers
Three customers were allegedly beaten up by bouncers of a restaurant in Cyber Hub. The incident happened when one of the customers vomited on the restaurant floor after consuming excessive liquor and food on Sunday evening. An FIR has been lodged against the bouncers at the DLF II police station.
Police said, Vipin Beniwal, Punit and Piyush Beniwal, residents of Delhi went to Soi 7 Pub & Brewery in Cyber Hub, DLF Cyber City with their families to have dinner on Sunday evening. Some of them from the group consumed alcohol before the food was served.

After a while, Vipin Beniwal fell sick and tried rushing to the restroom but could not control himself and ended up vomiting on the restaurant floor. Meanwhile, the restaurant staff and bouncers gathered around the group and started abusing them. The bouncers, then beat up Punit and Piyush who opposed them.

The victim said, ''Seven to eight bouncers and hotel staff members present at the restaurant beat us up and abused the female members in the group.''

The restaurant, however, had a different story to tell. A Soi 7 Pub official told Times Of India that around 12:45 am, two groups of guests got into a tiff and the restaurant security personnel intervened them.

Restaurant officials said, ''The first group had two boys accompanied by two girls while the other group consisted of around nine boys and they started hitting the boys of the first group. The girls started crying out for help and our security personnel rushed to help. The matter was sorted and the first group left immediately. But the second group returned to the restaurant after a while and started damaging the property. That is when our security personnel went out again, held those boys and called police. The cops arrived and took them into custody. Everything is recorded on the CCTV camera.''
