It is a once in a lifetime experience.”

Kashmir tourism has been trying its best to attract people to Gulmarg and they have been relatively successful. Talat Parvez, Director Tourism, said, “14 lakh tourists are expected this year. 12.5 lakhs have already reached. 1-2 lakhs are yet to come and touch 14 lakh tourists.” Talat also expects around 5000-6000 foreign skiers to come to Gulmarg this winter.
